Today
on 08th of May 2020, Coimbatore postal division released a special
die meter cancellation on COVID 19 on World Red Cross Day. IT was released by
Smt Sheuli Burman, PMG Western Region, Tamilnadu and senior superintendent of post offices Sri
Sudhir Gopal Jakhere.
The 300 envelopes in presentation packs
have been imprinted with ‘To stop Covid-19, flatten the curve’ and the epidemic
curve.
Each presentation pack consist of a Rs 5
commercially used postal envelop and Rs 5 cancelled by the date stamp
impressions.
